Support Me as I continue to advocate for PCOS while Living with PCOS
Dear Friends and Family,
For the last 8 years since being diagnosed with PCOS(polycystic ovarian syndrome) in 2009. I have undergone some life changing procedures that unfortunately have not been successful in my journey of weight loss. Due to my condition I struggle with weight among other issues caused by PCOS. I have yet to reach my goals due to the hindrance of this disorder. 2 years ago after the second procedure I had the worst experience a life event that would change the narrative of my story forever but it is that story that allows me to LIVE life fully and in my NOW. As I continue my path well traveled to 40 and I kick off my advocacy and fundraising efforts for PCOS challenge I reflect and embrace all these curves that GOD blessed me with. I'm no where near where I want to be but I'm where HE has me. Join me as I continue to share my story of resilience fighting and surviving PCOS by becoming a Virtual Walker or donating to PCOSchallenge.org by way of my link
We have successfully advocated and passed a house bill in DC to get the awareness out and September is now PCOS awareness month. I am proud I aided in the efforts in D.C. #youdontknowmystorybutyoushould #pcoschallenge #stirredbynotshaken #livinglifefully #livinginmyNow #apathwelltraveled #advocate #fightingandsurvivingpcos #donateandlearnmore #watchmelive
Please join me in helping PCOS Challenge, Inc. in the fight against polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
PCOS affects one in 10 women and can lead to infertility, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and life-long complications. It is one of the most critical, underfunded and neglected areas of health.
I am excited to be participating in the 2018 Bolt for PCOS 5K Run/Walk for Sunday, September 16th as a Virtual Walker since I will not be able to join in person. I hope you can join me for the event or donate to support me and women and girls affected by PCOS.
Your support will make a huge difference in the lives of tens-of-thousands of women as proceeds from the Bolt for PCOS race will go toward PCOS research, health screenings, grants, education and support programs, as well as increasing awareness and public support for those with polycystic ovary syndrome. Your support will help improve health outcomes, health management and quality of care for women with PCOS.
