September 16-17, 2017
September is Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Awareness Month! PCOS Challenge, Inc. and Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority will be holding PCOS Awareness Weekend 2017 at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. The weekend’s events at Georgia Tech include the fifth annual Southern Regional PCOS Awareness Symposium and the ninth annual Bolt for PCOS 5K Run Walk.
PCOS is a genetic, hormonal, metabolic and reproductive disorder that affects one in 10 women. It is one of the most critical, under-diagnosed, underfunded and neglected areas of health leading to type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and other life-long complications.
Join us to help spread awareness and help raise critical funding for PCOS research, education and support programs.
